Microsoft Outlook is an email and calendar application that is available as part of Office 365 that also gives you access to shared calendars and mailboxes, to do lists, and reminders.

ISS supported PCs have Outlook installed by default.

It can be installed or used online for free by staff and students as part of Office 365 – see Microsoft Office installation, help and training for details.

To increase the security of your data and communications in Office 365, you should enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on your IT account if you have not already done so.

Looking for help using Outlook? Access the Email and calendars with Microsoft Outlook online course or register for a Microsoft Outlook training session.

For help accessing and using email, see Email help and training. For help and guidance on using calendars effectively, see Calendars help and training.

We also recommend joining the Office 365 User Group where you can get updates on the latest features, understand best practice around the University and post your own questions about Outlook and other Office 365 apps.
